Dominic Daula

A concert of Alan Bush's compositions took place in the Chisholm Recital Room, at The South African College of Music in Cape Town, South Africa, on 10 August 2016 presented by Dominic Daula, a second-year music student, who is a great supporter of Alan Bush's music.

He included in the programme:
Sonata No. 3 in G (Mixolydian) for piano, Op. 113 (1986)
Quintet for Piano and Strings, Op. 104 (1984)
Three Northumbrian Impressions for oboe and piano, Op. 42a (1953)
Three African Sketches for flute and piano, Op. 55 (1960)
Sonata No. 4 for piano, Op. 119 (1987)

Dominic Daula (piano) performed in every work. The concert was very well received by the audience and a great success. There hasn't been an all-Bush concert since between 1990 -1991 to celebrate Bush's 90th birthday.
